Winter Cooking

Recently, we receive a message from one of our readers, "TQGuy" over at "AOL land". Here is his suggestion:

"Just an idea for you. I lived in Minnesota for 4 years and used various types of grills / smokers etc during virtually every weekend year 'round. I used to own a Brinkman water smoker and have used it in temperatures an low as -30 degrees. I found a perfect insulator. U-Haul has a triple wall cardboard box that is used for moving China. It fits perfectly around the outside of the Brinkman. Simply start your coals, fill the water, add your meat and then slide the box over the top of the Brinkman. Make sure to leave the bottom open and let the top stand straight up. Works great, and helps cure some of that cabin fever."

Thanks, TQGuy!
