Zing Sauce

In North Carolina, they serve a BBQ Pork sandwich with a sauce called "Zing Sauce". Here is a facsimile of that sauce from NC!
Mix the following ingredients and pour over your hot pork sandwich for some real zing!
1C. apple cider vinegar 1/2 C. water 1 t. salt 1 t. crushed red pepper 1/2 t. black pepper
Enjoy!
If you want a similar taste for a finishing sauce, you might want to try the following:
Combine the following ingredients and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, bottle and let cool for a few hours.
3 C. apple cider vinegar 2/3 C. brown sugar 1/2 c.catsup 2 T. Tabasco sauce 1 T. Worcestershire sauce 1 t. onion powder 1 t. salt 1 t. black pepper
