Directions

Start with two (2) to four (4) of your favorite steaks and then simply follow the directions!

    We prefer Rib-eyes or Filet Mignons
    2 cups dark red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon,
       a Merlot or even a Pinot Noir)
       Not Cooking Wine!
    1/4 cup olive oil
    3 cloves garlic sliced thinly
    2 shallots sliced thinly
    1/2 stalk celery sliced thinly
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbs fresh ground black pepper
    1 Tbs dried parsley
    1 Tbs onion powder
    1 tsp dried thyme
    1/2 tsp salt

The Perfect Steak MarinadeCombine all the ingredients, except the salt and pepper, in a glass bowl and stir gently. Pour 1/3 of mixture in flat glass pan and place in the steaks in the marinade. Pour remaining marinade over the steaks. Cover and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours. Turn occasionally. Remove and use salt and pepper on both sides. Grill to desired doneness and get ready for a burst of flavor. Be sure to have fun!
