Directions

Combine the following ingredients EXCEPT THE OIL, in a plastic or glass bowl until salt and sugar are dissolved.

    1/2 cup white wine vinegar
    1/2 cup classic olive oil
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar, white
    1 tsp. pepper, black ground
    1 to 2 garlic cloves, pressed

Then blend in the oil slowly with a whisking motion until it too has blended and dissolved.

If you might want to experiment, here are some other ingredients that you might want to add. Try basil, oregano, mustard powder, anchovies, onion, lemon juice, parsley, white pepper, red pepper, paprika, ginger, etc. Let your creative juices flow!
