Spicy Thunder Thighs

Comments:

Chicken thighs are probably the most popular cut of poultry that is turned in at sanctioned bbq contests. It is no wonder because they are tender, moist and delicious. What we do to them only increases the flavor. You will enjoy this meal!

First, collect the following ingredients:

4 Lbs thighs - skin on
1/3 cup lemon or lime juice
    1/3 cup apple juice
    3 tbs olive oil
3 cloves of garlic - minced
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
    1 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp Louisiana pepper sauce
    1/2 tsp salt

After cleaning the thighs and removing the excess skin and fat, pat dry and place on a plate. Next, combine the remaining ingredients in a glass or stainless steel bowl and mix thoroughly. Add the chicken and make sure you get the marinade up under the skin and onto the meat. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Prepare the grill for indirect heat (heat on one side and none on the other side). Place the chicken on the non heat side (skin up) and cook until done. You will really enjoy these Spicy Thunder Thighs!

Enjoy!
