Pepper Crusted Rib Eye Steaks

Comments:

Everyone deserves a wonderful, flavorful, grilled steak occasionally, right? I know I do!  It just makes us feel all good inside.  Add to your steak a fresh, crisp salad and maybe a nice glass of wine and, boom, you have a meal fit for a King & Queen.  Let's begin with the following:

4 beef rib eye steaks; minimum 1 inch thick
1 Tbs garlic powder
1 Tbs paprika
1 Tbs olive oil
3 tsp fresh ground black pepper
2 tsp oregano; dried ground
2 tsp thyme; dried ground
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp red pepper; ground (optional)
1 tsp salt

Let's begin by brushing each of your beautiful steaks lightly with the olive oil. Now, in a glass or stainless steel bowl, combine all of the remaining ingredients. Sprinkle this seasoning on all surfaces of the steaks.  Let them rest covered and chilled for about 1 hour. While they're hanging out in the refrigerator, fire up your grill so you have medium-hot coals going strong.  Now grab your steaks and cook them over the coals until they are done to your perfection. 

For more information on doneness, use an instant read thermometer.  We suggest reviewing our Temperature Page for proper internal temperatures.  Serve hot 'n fresh!  Enjoy!
