Molasses Marinated Chicken Breasts

Comments:

Most of the time, most folks, simply add some simple ingredients to their chicken breasts to get them on and off the grill to feed the family.  If you have a little extra time, then this recipe will be worth the effort.  The flavors are outstanding and the reactions from your guests will be fun to watch!

8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (you can use boneless, skinless thighs if you wish)

2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbs low sodium soy sauce
2 Tbs teriyaki sauce
2 Tbs molasses
1 Tbs sesame seeds
1 Tbs brown sugar
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp garlic pepper
2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup olive oil

In a glass bowl, thoroughly combine the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and molasses making sure the molasses has completely dissolved. Add the sesame seeds, brown sugar, paprika, garlic salt, garlic pepper, minced garlic, and olive oil; mix well.  Place the chicken breasts in a large zip lock bag and pour the molasses mixture over the chicken to coat thoroughly with the marinade. Seal, and marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator, turning over the chicken in the marinade occasionally.

Fire up your outdoor grill for medium heat.

Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off excess. Grill until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 °, and is firm. Do not use the remaining marinade as a baste.

Enjoy!
