Juicy Burgers

Comments:

No one is really sure where the humble hamburger began. Some believe it began with the Tartars of Central Asia and others believe it was some German immigrants who brought it over with them. Then, you have to figure out where THEY got it! We believe the best burgers begin in your refrigerator on the way to your grill! They can be plain or fancy. Experiment and have fun with various techniques and recipes.

Mix this well and allow it to sit in the fridge for a day. Take it out, shake it up and bring to room temperature. Of course, if you are in a hurry, you can get after it as soon as all the ingredients have been mingled!

    1 pound of ground beef
    1 Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
5 Tbs. lightly sauteed chopped onions
    5 Tbs. crumbled blue cheese
    2 tsp lemon pepper
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    2 tsp fresh ground pepper
    1 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients [except the blue cheese] into hamburger meat and gently make into about 5 thick paddies. Cook until about 145 to 160 degrees internal temperature. ALWAYS USE YOUR MEAT THERMOMETER TO PREVENT BEING OVER/UNDER DONE.

Place on toasted onion buns with all the trimmings. You will never go back to plain burgers again!

Enjoy!
