Directions

Collect the following ingredients:

    10-pound whole turkey, cleaned and drained well
    1/2 cup canola oil
    1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 Tbs chopped fresh marjoram
    1 Tbs chopped fresh thyme
    1 Tbs chopped fresh sage
    1 Tbs freshly ground black pepper
    1/2 tsp salt

Herb Rubbed Roasted TurkeyCombine the oil, vinegar, herbs and seasonings together in a small bowl. Rub marinade thoroughly on the outside of the turkey. Then, carefully, without tearing the skin, slide your fingers under the skin and get as much marinade between the skin and the meat as possible. Place turkey in a cooking bag and tie securely. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for several hours.
