Popular Gas Grills

Gas Grill Manufacturers

Welcome to the area of our site which offers a listing of known Gas Grill Manufacturers (both portable propane and permanent natural gas). This listing has companies which make the smallest patio gas grill up to and including some rather large trailer mounted rigs. Shop around and call them for a brochure if they do not have a web page linked from here.

You will find a great difference in quality, size and portability. If you have any questions concerning the options and features which you would like to see on the gas grill which you are considering, please go back and review the Popular Gas Grills pages for all the necessary information. We add to these pages regularly, so check back occasionally and we will have additional manufacturers for your review. Don't forget to tell the folks where you found the information on them!

To get the most out of your gas grill, be sure to visit our section on tips and techniques presented in Barbecue'n On The Internet

With our techniques and recipes, you will be the hero of the backyard cookout!

Should you know of other quality manufacturers, please let us know and we will add them to our list.

Key Notes:

Gas Grills, unlike Wood Grills, have a tendency to grow in heat rather than diminish. A wood fire will flare up occasionally, but is always on the decline unless additional wood is added. The Gas Grill, on the other hand, has a constant source of fuel and when the grease catches fire, then things can get out of control quickly. If this occurs, open the hood carefully and add water to the flare-ups. Then close the hood and keep the fire under control. Don't loose the meat to the fire.

If you are having difficulty in controlling the temperature with it being too hot, take a stick or some other item and prop the hood open about 1/2". They even make a hood holder for this purpose. This method will allow some of the heat out on a constant basis. Adjust the opening size to achieve the desired consistent temperature.

Utilize the information presented in the Tips, Techniques and other pages presented in Barbecue'n On The Internet. There you will find additional information which will also be applicable to the Gas Grill.

For those desiring a little 'extra' browning, the Gas Grill is excellent. Simply turn up the flame and allow the flare-up/increased temperatures to sear the meat. A good use of this technique would be at the beginning of cooking a brisket. Simply sear the outside of the meat to seal in the juices. Then reduce the heat to normal cooking temperatures for the duration of the cooking time.
