FAQ Subject: Good technique to pre-cook or prepare Brat Wurst

Would you please describe a good technique to pre-cook or prepare Brat Wurst...in order to insure it is fully cooked and to shorten time on the grill.

Thank you,
Arizona Burner
David l. Linley

Hi David,

Lots of folk simmer them in beer or beer & water until they reach 160° in the center then put them on the grill to get a little smoke flavor and crisp up the skin. Puncture the casings several times before putting on the grill.

Have fun,
Smoky
