Topic: Re: Beechwood

You guys are adictive,

I was wondering, do you know anyone who has used beech wood for smoking (NOT Beechwood 4-5-7-8-9). I just had a 60 footer blow down in my woods. Should I invest in a couple of gallons of OPEC inflated petrol and hack it up or leave it for the worms & woodpeckers?

Thanks again,
Fred Crown

Hi Fred,

Beechwood is excellent for cooking. Makes beautiful furniture, excellent bowls, cutting boards, spoons. Might make some beauiful patio furniture.

Be careful of that chainsaw.

Fun,
Smoky
